Yoga in the Park

Join us as we begin a new program here at Kincaid Lake – Yoga in the Park!

Yoga is a practice that connects the body, breath, and mind by using physical postures, breathing exercises, and meditation to improve overall health. There’s no better back drop than the sights and sounds at Kincaid Lake State Park. Feel the breeze off the lake, soak up the warmth of the sunshine and enjoy the scenery of nature all around you while doing a great exercise that helps to reduce stress too.

This beginner’s level program is donation based and will be held, weather permitting, lake-side below the pool by an incredible volunteer, Amber Herrmann. Amber has been certified through the 300 hour instructional program from World Peace Yoga in Cincinnati and we can’t wait to see how awesome this program will be!

Yoga mats are recommended but any soft equipment (towels, blankets, etc…) will work for the program. Children are welcome to attend but we ask they be respectful of the space for the duration of the session. Classes are usually one hour in duration and we expect classes to begin at 10 a.m.

Yoga will take place near the pool.
